The 24th annual fantasy festival in Bulgaria "Bulgacon 2023" will be held from September 22 to 24 in Plovdiv. The events of the program will take place in three locations - in the Boris Hristov House of Culture and the hotels Puldin COOP and Leipzig.

Bulgakon is an annual meeting of fantasy lovers in Bulgaria, which has been held for more than two decades. The "Bulgacon 2023" edition in the city of Plovdiv is supported by the National Culture Fund and Ozone.bg.

Many Bulgarian writers and other actors in the field of fantasy genres will take part in the festival, as well as special guests Peter Watts (Canada), Eric Simon (Germany), Francesco Verso (Italy), Alex Schwartzman (USA) and others.

Part of the meetings will be held online with the participation of artists from different countries around the world. Visitors can see numerous events, exhibitions, quizzes and games, as well as the traditional book auction for the festival.

Within the framework of "Bulgakon 2023" the winners of the contest for a fantastic story on the topic "The Fantastic Bulgarian Province" will be announced and awarded.
