On 25th Nov 2014 at 6p.m in the Vazrazhdane Gallery an exhibition of sculpture "Hands" by Dimitar Rashkov will be open. The exhibition commemorates the artist’s 60th anniversary and will continue until 15th Dec 2014. The magnificent Dimitar Rashkov celebrates his 60th - anniversary with an exclusive exhibition - "Hands", which is the quintessence of everything he had done till now. The faces can lie; they are protected by smiles, facial expressions, wrinkles and can deceive anyone about anything. This is not the case with the hand! At rest or gesticulating it says, it illustrates, it denounces. The hands will reveal the age, the profession and the character. Their lines will suggest how and how long we will live and how and how much we will love. The face is the people’s mask; the hand is the truth about them. Hands can give life and they can take it away. They can caress and they can hit. And it is the wisdom and the ability of Rashkov‘s hands that create this amazing series of sculptures. They prove again his high skill of carver and will adapt us to his amazing aesthetics of creator, wiser, but still remained smiling and promising surprises. Krassi Alexieva, 2014
