THE OLD TOWN OF PLOVDIV
"Young Wine Parade" is pleased to invite you to the fifteenth edition of the festival, which will be held on 24, 25 and 26 November in our favorite Old Town of Plovdiv.
Along the cobbled streets preserving the atmosphere of bygone eras, under the magical sky of the Old Town, you will find seventeen locations in which you will find more than 300 types of first-class Bulgarian wines waiting for you to taste, as well as foods to pair them with.

Participants are winemakers, food and product producers and others.
The opening is on 24 November (Friday). Traditionally, from the square in front of the Plovdiv Municipality at 13:00, the "Dionysius Procession" and the "Thrace" ensemble will lead all wine lovers to the beginning of the Old Town, where at 14:00, God Dionysus will open the first barrel of young wine of a winery - gold medalist of the previous edition.
The wine fiesta will last for three days:
On November 24 - from 2 pm to 6 pm.
On 25 November - from 11 am to 6 pm.
On 26 November - from 11 am to 5 pm.
WINE TASTING IS DONE WITH TOKENS!
Tasting kits will be available during the event outside each festival location.

Day 1 of the "Days of Young Wine" - 20 November (Monday) at 6 pm. | Admission by reservation Bally Club
Wine tasting and presentation of the participants in the "Young Wine Parade" from the "Valley of the river" region. The "Wine of the Year".
Day 2 of the "Days of Young Wine" - 21 November (Tuesday) at 5 pm. | Free entrance

"Student Hackathon" - presentations by students from the Faculty of International Studies of Plovdiv Paisii Hilendarski University, University of Agribusiness and Regional Development and University of Food Technologies.

Bally Club
Wine tasting and presentation of the participants in the "Young Wine Parade" from the "Sakar" region.
Day 4 of the "Days of Young Wine" - 23 November (Thursday) at 5 pm. | Free entrance

Literary soiree "A Sip of Love" with the participation of Paulina Gegova, Marina Kutryanova, Videlina Gandeva, Agleya Kaneva and Zlatko Pavlov.
Programme for the "Young Wine Parade" - 2023:
November 24 (Friday)
1 p.m. - "Dionysian Procession" accompanied by the "Thrace" ensemble and the god Dionysus.
Stefan Stambolov square in front of the Municipality of Plovdiv;
2 p.m. - Official opening with the participation of the Trakia ensemble and official guests. Opening of the first cask of young wine by the god Dionysus. The beginning of the Old Town. In bad weather at the Roman Stadium;
2 p.m. - Start of wine tastings;
6 p.m. - End of wine tastings in the Old Town;
Accompanying events:
19:30 - "Games and wine for singles" / with advance reservation.
November 25 (Saturday)
11 a.m. - Start of wine tastings in the Old Town
1:00 p.m. - Folk performance of "Bistryka grandmothers and granddaughters" House Ivan Chernozemski.
Expect performances by Ensemble "Thrakia" and girl choir "Evmolpeia" throughout the day at the festival locations;
6 p.m. - End of wine tastings in the Old Town.
6 p.m. - "Night at the museum - Painting a night bird in the company of young wine" Natural History Museum - Plovdiv. With advance reservation.
November 26 (Sunday)
11 a.m. - Start of wine tastings in the Old Town;
1 p.m. - "Where and how do we contribute to a better world with a glass of wine?" Wine destinations through the prism of regenerative tourism" - Presentation of the Bulgarian Association of Wine Professionals - House "Ivan Chernozemski".
3 p.m. - "Vinoslovitsa" - a game for advanced wine lovers. Atanas Krastev Square /Lapidarium/.
5 p.m. - End of wine tastings. See you soon.

"The Young Wine Parade 2023 is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism and with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture.
"Young Wine Parade" 2023 is funded by the "Annual Tourism Development Program of the Municipality of Plovdiv for 2023".
Alcohol consumption is prohibited for persons under 18 years of age.
Young Wine Parade in Plovdiv is an annual wine event that contributes to the promotion of Bulgarian wine and wine tourism. The event is held every year in November in the Old Town, where the best young wines of Bulgaria can be tasted.
