Ethno kitchen on wheels and Blue Summer Festival 2023
27 - 28 May 2023

The eighth edition of the culinary fair "Ethnic Cuisine on Wheels" will take place on 27 and 28 May at the new festival and event space in Plovdiv Stage Park, at the foot of Youth Hill.  The wooden houses on the separate shopping street will become a place for culinary delights of Armenian, Italian, Russian, Jewish, Turkish, Ukrainian and traditional Balkan cuisine. During the two weekends at the end of May, fair guests will be able to watch various presentations and cooking show demonstrations by chefs of different nationalities. Kitchens of different ethnicities will offer tastings and traditional foods from 11 am to 5 pm. One of the best bread bakeries from the region will also make a special guest appearance at the fair. Master chefs will show kids how to make their own delicious cookies.

Along with the culinary fair, the third festival for children and family "Blue Summer" will be held, and on the big stage of Plovdiv Stage Park, two circus shows will be presented for the first time. On Saturday, between the two circus shows, all children will be able to take part in interesting art workshops and peoples games, and on Sunday, on the small stage, they will watch music, theatre and dance performances. Theatre in the Park for children and families will be available in different areas of the city.

In view of the bad weather conditions in Plovdiv, all Blue Summer Festival events are cancelled for 16th June - Friday!

Ethno Kitchen on Wheels is a project of Foundation Zaedno in Plovdiv, which is realized with the financial support of the Municipality of Plovdiv, together with the local ethnic communities with the oldest history in the oldest living city in Europe. The project is part of the Cultural Calendar of Plovdiv for 2023.
