Station Street Festival
Join us in the first edition of the brand new festival in the city under the hills - Station Street Festival from 01.09.2023 to 06.09.2023.
The festival will transform the iconic Ivan Vazov street into a scene for art & culture. The artistic space in Plovdiv will expand towards the "Toacco City" & it will create the perfect environment for music, culture, games & all sorts of interactions offline & online.
PROGRAM:
01.09 The first day of the "Station Street" festival will start at 17:00, when the Plovdiv XRaydio will play on Ivan Vazov Street. At 19:00 will be held a meeting with Yellow Madhouse - the creators of the fully inspired by Slavic mythology DnD adventure - The Devil's Bridge, and at 19:30 we will listen to the new album of the Plovdiv band TDK - Nemesta. At 20:30, the newly created alternative band TenderBender (Lachezar Bosakov, Ivo Chalakov, Mikhail Deliradev and Alexander Milanov) will take the stage of the festival, and immediately after at 21:30 the Istanbul trio Lalalar will play.
02.09 from 12:00 to 17:00 will be held a car show of Retro Club Plovdiv. From 18:00 Blues Traffic will take the stage, from 19:30. From 21:30 the evening closes the Italians New Candys.
03.09 at 11:00 am will be held Architectural and Historical Tour - District 324 (with advance registration). Between 2:00pm and 4:00pm there will be an INDIE GAME SHOWCASE on the festival stage and from 4:00pm to 7:00pm there will be game demonstrations. At 7:00pm, a concert by Lia Hide, and at 8:30pm. - Theodore concert.
On 04.09 between 14:00 and 16:00 we will have meetings with 5 gaming studios, and between 16:15 and 18:00 there will be meetings-interviews with representatives of the Natural History Museum Plovdiv, Ivan Vazov National Library and Bulmint Mint. At 18:00, an architectural and historical tour will be held along Ivan Vazov Street (pre-registration). From 18:00 Clavexperience take the stage. At 19:00h Fingertone & Malik, and from 20:30h Ethno Venture.
05.09 between 14:00 and 17:20 8 gaming studios will be presented, as well as Technical University of Plovdiv - Robotics Club. From 18:00 will be held Architectural and Historical Tour - District 324 (with advance registration). At 18:30 the Angel Demirev Trio takes the stage. At 20:00. - Untempered Motion concert, and at 21:30 - All Greek To Me concert.
06.09 - The day starts with a concert of the National School of Music and Dance "Dobrin Petkov" at 10:00. At 12:00pm there will be a concert of Big Band Plovdiv, and at 13:00pm the students of the Dobrin Petkov National School of Music and Dance will take the stage. Between 14:00 and 16:30 expect the "Station Street Fighter 6" tournament. From 17:00 will be a musical performance of the British School of Plovdiv, and at 17:30 on the big stage comes the British band Partikel. At 19:00h the festive concert with the participation of the Folklore Ensemble "Trakia" and the Guards Representative Brass Band will be broadcast live. And at 20:30 Theodosii Spasov Quintet will close the festival program.
The event is free-entrance & it is supported by Plovdiv 2019 ECOC.
