Charity exhibition-auction with works of artists in a disadvantaged position
On November 29, 2023, the Regional History Museum - Plovdiv will host a charity exhibition - an auction of works of art by disadvantaged artists. The purpose of the event is to raise funds for the construction of an accessible environment in public buildings in the city of Plovdiv and the creation of a gallery with a permanent exhibition.
The event is organized by the Creators of Hope Foundation, with the Chairman of the Board Michele Santorelli.
"Creators of Hope" is a non-governmental organization whose mission is to support the integration and realization of disadvantaged people. The main goals of the foundation are: promoting the creativity of disadvantaged people; creating a gallery with a permanent exhibition; developing human resources and helping create and refine ideas, concepts and creative models; support for cultural, educational and creative exchange between individuals from all parts of the world; participation in projects and events aimed at increasing motivation, creativity and creative thinking in all layers of society; integration of creative activities in different spheres of social practices. The program of the event is as follows: 16:00 - 18:00 - viewing of the works; 18:00 - 19:00 h - auction; 19:00 - 20:00 h - cocktail.
The charity exhibition - auction will be accompanied by a quartet for flute, saxophone, cahons and guitar - Yavor Angelov, Galatea Mutafova, Alex Shvadchina and Boris Grozdev and with the special participation of Martina Kurteva, vocal.
Invitations to participate have been sent to over 200 representatives of Plovdiv business, representatives of public and state institutions, foreign guests and representatives of non-governmental organizations working in the social sphere.
