“The Fox and the Tomcats” is a musical project created by Militsa Gladnishka, Nikolay Vodenicharov – Niketsa, and Ivan Velchev.
Three troubadours, dreamers, and lovers of books. The union of their talents gave birth to the album Songs Inspired by Great Novels.
The show is guaranteed entertainment! It is filled with genuine humor, daring banter, and the signature wit of Militsa. From the stage erupts Niketsa’s rock voice and powerful guitar sound, while Ivan Velchev drives the audience’s hearts with his drumming.
Together, the trio sweeps the audience through a wide range of emotions. During the concerts, you will hear familiar hits, bold arrangements of timeless classics, and completely original songs inspired by well-known literary characters. The group creates a unique kind of show rarely seen in Bulgaria, blending jazz, rock, pop, mysticism, alternative music, and even classic Bulgarian estrada-style music. And to give you a break from the intense passions of novels by Stephen King or Odyssey by Homer, the concert also features a mini stand-up comedy show woven into the performance!
