The monument "Hillock of Fraternity" (Brotherly Mound) is located at the beginning of the Park "Recreation and Culture" in the western part of the city. In the construction of the memorial complex dedicated to the fallen warriors of the Liberation of Bulgaria from Ottoman rule, during the Balkan wars, and the First and the Second World Wars, participated prominent Bulgarian artists like the sculptor Lyubomir Dalchev.
