International Conference and Book Presentation for 142 Years of the Russo-Turkish War
Regional Museum of History - Plovdiv will host two events related to the 142 years of the Russo-Turkish War and the Liberation of Bulgaria, which will be held in the "Saedinenie" Hall at 1 Saedinenie Square:
On March 4, 2020, at 10.00, an international scientific conference will be held entitled "142 Years since the Russo-Turkish War and the Liberation of Bulgaria".
Russian participants:
- Konstantin Ilic Mogilevsky - Member of the Presidium of the Russian Historical Society (RIO), Executive Director of the Fatherland History Fund
- Alexei Konstantinovich Levikin - Member of the Presidium of RIO, Director of the State History Museum
- Efim Brewer - President of the Russian State Humanities University
- Prince Nikita Dmitrievich Lobanov-Rostovsky - Chairman of the Committee on Russian Heritage in the United Kingdom
Bulgarian participants:
- Academician Konstantin Kosev
- Academician Georgi Markov
- Academician Vasil Guzelev
On the same day, March 4, 2020, at 5.30pm, the book Whose Spy is Prince Nikita Lobanov-Rostovski will be presented again at the Saedinenie Hall, with the participation of its author Nikola Filipov, the author of the foreword, Rumen Petkov, and the publisher Professor Valery Stefanov. Autographs will also be given by Prince Nikita Lobanov-Rostovsky himself.
The events are implemented with the support of Plovdiv Municipality.
