The orchestra is a traditional musical host of the Plovdiv Awards Ceremony. The active activity includes a number of festival participations, as well as participations in almost all jazz forums in our country. The band's repertoire is extremely wide - from classical jazz to contemporary Latin and pop songs. Almost all plays are arranged by Nikolay Geshev - conductor of the ensemble. A graduate of the Academy of Music and Dance in his hometown, he is both a trombonist and a conductor. The creative biography of "Big Band Plovdiv" impresses the joint projects with Kamelia Todorova, Vasil Petrov, Petar Salchev, Edith Undjian and many other famous names in the genre. "Big Band Plovdiv" regularly participates in most outdoor city holidays, and for several years Their soloists are the graduates of the most popular school for young talents "Art Voice Center".
