Literary reading will be divided into two parts. The first is dedicated to the great satirist Chudomir. His stories are the culmination of the humorous genre. The techniques he skillfully handles recreate the Bulgarian from the past in a way that provokes both a smile and ridicule in the reader. It shows the everyday person and the situations in which he finds himself, with all his habits, shortcomings, but also hopes. With one foot he stepped into his homeland, with the other he stepped into the illusory dream of the West.
The second part of the reading will focus on other legends in Bulgarian literature, such as Yordan Radichkov, Elin Pelin and Stanislav Stratiev. They depict life in Bulgaria through the various political, fashion and social trends no worse. From the theme of love in the village to the night experiences on the streets of the capital. You will be able to hear all this and more on July 7.

Giovanna Galiardi graduated in Acting for Drama Theater at Plovdiv University "Paisii Hilendarski" in 2014. She has participated in cameo roles in various Bulgarian series, filmed commercials, hosted events, and is currently part of the troupe of the Rhodope Drama Theater "Nikolai Haitov".

"Forgotten from Heaven" is a spectacle as close to a liturgy in a small church somewhere in the mother's embrace on the Rhodope Mountains. A clash of generations in the face of a desperate Sofia drug addict and the wisdom of the Rhodopean centenarians. The narrative nature of the performance gives the audience a chance to follow the story of Nicholas, who in his wild puberty finds drugs as the only way out of his confused soul. After a close encounter with the death of his best friend, Nikola set off on an unforeseen hitchhiking away from the city. Coincidence or non-coincidence takes him to a remote Rhodopean village where only a few people live. The village of the centenarians sucks up our hero and gives him a second life woven of mysticism, kindness, respect for traditions and love for life. This is the place where he chooses to live, to fall in love, to start a family and to meet the joy of a life free from addictions. This is the place where the hero invites us to take a walk and visit him like an old friend. "Forgotten by Heaven" is an intimate-confessional spectacle about the inseparable connection between heaven and earth, which is undoubtedly man.

This production is performed with respect to the memory of the unique actress ZLATINA TODEVA and with a tribute to the memory of the legendary director Prof. YULIYA OGNYANOVA.
