Exhibition "The Legacy" - the personal collection of the writer Hristo Stoyanov in Plovdiv

The Department of Culture, Archeology and Cultural Heritage of the Municipality of Plovdiv invites fans and connoisseurs of fine arts to a very special exhibition. Under the name "The Will", the writer Hristo Stoyanov will show in Plovdiv a small part of his personal collection of paintings - paintings, graphics and drawings.

The idea for the exhibition in Plovdiv arose spontaneously during a conversation between the Deputy Mayor for Culture, Archeology and Tourism of Plovdiv Municipality Plamen Panov and the writer Hristo Stoyanov, who met at the opening of the National Autumn Exhibitions 2020 in the Old Town.

The opening of the exhibition will take place in the presence of Hristo Stoyanov and numerous guests on October 19, 2020, Monday, at 18.00 in the Hall of Culture "Boris Hristov", lobby, 2nd floor.

The rich collection, collected for about three decades by the Gabrovo-born writer and publicist, includes paintings by old masters, contemporary authors - not only canvases, but also beautiful graphics, drawings and sculptures. 

In Plovdiv, connoisseurs will have the opportunity and pleasure to see works by: Vladimir Dimitrov - The Master, Zlatyu Boyadzhiev, Svetlin Rusev, Maxim Boyadzhiev, Vezhdi Rashidov, Suli Seferov, Kiril Bozhkov, Alexander Raykov, Toma Trifonovski, Nikolay Angelov - Gary, Svilen Blazhev , Veselin Damyanov - Ves, Yuri Bukov, Dimitar Karatonev, Ivan Uzunov, Ivaylo Mirchev, Vihra Grigorova, Vladimir Chukich, Ivan Dimov, Petar Michev - Pedro, Nikolay Dobrev, Valentin Uzunov, Hristo Hristov, Stoyan Stoyanov - Techi and Stoimen Stoilov.

The exhibition in the Hall of Culture is realized with the assistance of the Municipality of Gabrovo and can be viewed until November 4, 2020.
