“Varna, the sea and the blue waves…” – this old love song was the first one which lyrics I understood during a holiday in Varna with my mother and my sister. 
Some time afterwards I understood what love is and what the people in love feel. Then I started painting as I could not play any musical instrument. And thus, for 45 years now, I have been trying to represent the shades of love, the eroticism and the feeling of loving and being loved. This is the main aspect of the present exhibition “Love Songs”.
