Gallery Vazrazdane invites you to a painting exhibition by the Creator Ivan Milushev. The holiday will be on 11.12.2018 at 18:00. The exhibition will be real and accessible to all by 03.01.2019. 

 

   Ivan brings us back into his idealistic world of stored illusions. A world in which good is a trademark. A world in which you can bring your soul into a prayer, to entrust your friendship to a kitten, to quietly accept your loneliness as a missionary. The confessional form of some paintings is elegantly related to the subtle eroticism of bare female bodies. The naivety of an artist's mark is perfectly matched by the peaceful and delicately-found compositional solutions on the canvasses. Peace, which is not surrender, but the wisdom of an accepted, rational and appreciated positive, creative life.

   Ivan Milushev is one of the most renowned contemporary artists in Bulgaria. Born in 1956 in Blagoevgrad, he graduated the Sofia Academy of Arts in 1981 with a Master’s Degree in Illustration. His professional career primarily focuses on oil, water colour and etching. Ivan is a member of the Bulgarian Artists Union and currently assumes the position of Director of the City Gallery Blagoevgrad.
