Welcome to the new exhibition of Ivaylo Dimitrov, called “Nostalgia in Bulgarian way”. The opening will be on 30th of April 2019, Tuesday, from 18.00 in the hall of Vazrazdane Gallery. The exhibition will continue until 20th of May 2019. 

 

Through the new exhibition of Ivaylo Dimitrov we find ourselves again in a picturesque world, which has no analogue in our contemporary soulless, neuropathic, “global” peace, where we know everything and we are not interested in anything. The painter does not draw life, but the being itself with its humor, laughter and irony, the being that plays with the religious hypocrisy and household details, and the elements of that Bulgarian spirituality and precious archetype that we are about to destroy. And at the same time, the good, bright smile of the paintings delights and enlightens us.
