From 29 September to 5 October, competitors from the USA, India, Germany, Italy and Macedonia will come to Plovdiv for a meeting of generations in chess. The idea and realization of the tournament is the Plovdiv Chess Club ChesBomb, which for the second year in a row meets talented children with famous grandmasters from around the world.

The president of the club Kaloyan Mateev says that the main idea of the competition is for talented Bulgarian players like Tsvetan Stoyanov, Lachezar Yordanov, Nikola Kanov, Valentin Mitev and Elif Mehmed to prove their level against their grandmaster coaches and thus to ensure the continuity between generations in Bulgarian chess.

With the exception of GM Ivan Cheparinov, all other Bulgarian top 10 players have declared their participation in this most prestigious chess event in Bulgaria for 2022.

The meeting is realized under the auspices of the Round-Table organization and the support of Plovdiv Municipality.

The tournament is hosted by the Plovdiv Business Center and the games will be streamed live every day at 4 pm on the website www.chess.com.
