The announcement of the prizes in the competition for the Hristo G. Danov National Award for contribution to Bulgarian literary culture in front of the public will be held at a ceremony in Plovdiv, which will take place on 16 June at 17.00 in the house-museum Hristo G. Danov.

The Hristo G. Danov National Award was established by the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Plovdiv in 1999 and is awarded annually on the occasion of 24 May. According to the approved Statute of the Prize, awards will be awarded on a competitive basis in eight categories. The Minister of Culture also presents one Grand Prize for overall contribution to national literary culture.
