Ishhan Nigohosyan is the most famous, interesting and curious artists - humorists of Bulgaria. His drawings and paintings, which almost always lies jokes idea, intelligently and cleverly designed, are as warm bites laughter. Often this laughter touches satire, and sometimes romantic - erotic beginning, tinged with sentimentality. Although laughter is the main weapon and career of the artist, he never abused it, it degrades to empty and inappropriate giggle. In Ishhan everything is elegant, stylistically pleasing, with an expression of high culture and understanding, with a goodness of laughter, a wonderful stroke of drawing and with a brilliant sense of humor. And we are asked only a little humor! Ishhan Nigohosyan (Shani) was born on May 8, 1950 in Sofia. In 1966, only 16 years old, printed his first cartoon in the newspaper "Secondary school flag ". He has numerous publications in various newspapers. His works are mainly in the zhivopisatirata, graphics and caricature. His cartoons have been published in newspapers "Secondary school flag", "People's Youth" and "Hornet" and the magazine "Cartoon". He has won numerous awards from various competitions in Canada, Turkey, Germany and Bulgaria, including first prize in the cartoon exhibition "Man and the car." His first solo exhibition was in 1981, has participated in many exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad. His works are owned by private collectors from USA, Germany, Canada, Belgium, France, Spain and Switzerland. Regular participant in exhibitions and workshops on "Zhivopisatira" in Sofia, Gabrovo and Gorna Oryahovitsa. In July 2004, the exhibition "Painting-Satire", organized by UBA, Ishhan Nigohosyan awarded first prize for kinetic work "Crazy picture" that creates together with Emil Lazarov. It is included in the art project "Bulgarian authors". One of his last exhibitions to date was in 2011 in the gallery "Punto Art Bazaar" and is dedicated to the most constant theme in his work - "Don Quixote and Sancho Panza."
