On 06.03.2018 (Tuesday) at 18:00 in the Vazrazdane Gallery will be opened an exhibition of paintings and sculptures by Nikola Gulev and Tsvetelina Angelova. The exhibition will continue until March 26, 2018.

  The two authors are the youngest artists with whom the gallery works.
 
   In his third exhibition at the Vazrazdane Gallery, Nikola Goulev shows a noticeable change. From the realistic rendering, the author has gone to an imagination, seeking for the poetry in the image. He is looking for silhouette more than materializing him. The softening of the colors, the frivolous attitude towards space, the details of the form contribute to a pure lyricism, to a dreaminess.
  The young author seeks the spiritual penetration, the mental structure of his images, and this change in his painting is very noble and sincere.

   For the first time in the Vazrazdane Gallery, the young sculptor Tsvetelina Angelova presented her works. Student of Svilen Kostadinov, she works mostly with stone, but she experimented and with other materials.
   Here's what she says about her creativity: “The works do not have a thematic connection between each other. They are self-contained images that are made up of different elements, creating a single entity. Like the rendering method, exposition aims to build this entity of different images through the general sound of works, such as manner, movement and state.”
Gulev Nicholas was born in Plovdiv in 1987.
In 2001 – 2006 he graduated the "Tsanko Lavrenov" High School of Fine Arts, Plovdiv - specialty painting.
In 2006 - 2010, he graduated the "Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts" (BA inPedagogy of Fine Arts) with course director Prof. Rumen Zhekov.
In 2010 - 2012, he graduated the "Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts" (Master's degree in Painting) with course director Prof. Rumen Zhekov.
In 2012 he was appointed as a PhD student in "Pedagogy of Fine Arts" in the "Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts" - Plovdiv.
Since 2010 he is a member of the "Association of Plovdiv artists”.
From 2016 he gained scientific title - Doctor of methodology of teaching art.
He has made 15 solo exhibitions.

2011 - Annual Student Award in the category of Fine Arts'  at the Academy of Music,Dance and Fine Arts, Plovdiv.
2011 - Award and a certificate at the photo competition "Life does not tolerate lies".
2011 - Nominated as the Student of the Year of Bulgaria.
2013 – Encouraging prize from the National event "Knight of the brush", Karlovo.
2016 - Nomination for a young author of Plovdiv by the Association of Plovdiv Artists in an Annual Exhibition of "The Association of Plovdiv Artists" - Exhibition Hall of "The Association of Plovdiv Artists" - 32 Gladstone Str.
2017 - Plovdiv Municipality Award for Young Teacher of the Year.
2017 - Diploma from the Municipality of Plovdiv (East region) for outstanding success in the educational process.

    Tsvetelina Angelova - biography:
2008 - 2012 Bachelor's Degree in "Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts", Plovdiv, specialty "Pedagogy of Fine Art Education" specialty sculpture at Svilen Kostadinov.
2012 - 2014 Master's degree in "Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts", Plovdiv, specialty "Pedagogy of Art Education", specialty sculpture at Svilen Kostadinov.
She has performed two solo exhibitions and numerous participations in general and plenary events.
2014 - co-organizer and member of the artistic group "Tub-Dub".
2014 - organizer of a Pleven Plaque for Painting and Graphite "Pleven through the eyes of the young authors of Bulgaria" Pleven;
