Gallery Vazrazdane presents "Tango" by Antonia Docheva
On March 27, 2018 at 18:00 in the Vazrazdane Gallery will be opened exhibition painting "Tango" by Antonia Docheva. The exhibition will continue until 16.04.2018. At the very opening, guests will have the pleasure of enjoying tango performances by dancers from the club "Tango con Elias", Plovdiv.
The exhibition "Tango" shows the painter's gift of an artist with great achievements in the field of illustration and painting. The author takes us to a world that is subordinate to music, to passion for dancing tango. A world from the first half of the 20th century, reinvented in the paintings of the artist. Expressionism in the works approaching Antonia to Georg Gross and Otto Dix, but she has much more passion, bright longevity, forgetting the world except for the partner. The dancers are for themselves (against the background of the city, the crowd), they are Adam and Eve, their only world begins with the first note of tango and ends with the last one. Their soldering in dance is more than a love act - they are bridged by feelings we can only suspect and dream of.
