The Royal Court of Spain moves to Plovdiv State Opera with its new title- ''Don Carlos'' by Verdi. The production is a continuation of the ''Big dramatists in Opera -Verdi,Shakespeare,Schiler and Hugo'' season.On 7th February at 19 o'clock the audience will cherish the performance of the world-renowned tenor Kamen Chanev and Gena Dimitrova's student-  the soprano Elena Barymova. Conductor is Dian Chobanov.

The setting is warmly welcomed in all Europe. It has been played at Karajan in Salzburg,in Auditorum Hall in Spain and other spectacular opera theatres around the world. The decor is of  actual and modern vision and the director's concept of Nina Naydenova is focusing on the personal jail of everyone of us,where behind the bars power,politics,religion,love and hatred is found.The production was performed at the summer festival ''Opera Open'' and adapted for the Antic theater and now its spectators will have the opportunity to see its original artistic version.
