PRESENTATION

Jordi Canudas will show in Kapana an interactive installation inviting visitors to try a sofa with a fluid backrest, a smart lamp and the making of a light body by dipping it in paint. Jordi will also talk about his path as a designer so far. He started up his studio in Barcelona in 2011, four years after graduating from London's Royal Academy of Art with an MA in Product Design. He is also member of London-based design collective OKAY Studio. In his work Jordi Canudas covers a wide range of fields – product design, product development, art direction, interior design and one-off production. Some of his works are in the permanent collections of MoMA, New York, and Design Museum Die Neue Sammlung, Munich. He also teaches at Escola Superior de Disseny Elisava in Barcelona and at Bath Spa University in the UK.
