Plovdiv Jazz Fest will be attended by the granddaughter of Tolstoy

The festival will be opened by the bearer of Grammy – Kurt Elling on his birthday - the 2-nd of November.
Plovdiv Jazz Fest 2015 is the new edition of the annual festival Nights of Jazz in Plovdiv, but for the first time in new format and conception.
The event, which will be focused on the vocal jazz, is organized by the Municipality of Plovdiv an Blue M, and will present a few of the most significant jazz performers on the modern stage.
The granddaughter of Tolstoy herself – the amazing Victoria, will arrive in Plovdiv to take part in the event. The young singer will give a concert accompanied by her stage partner – the pianist Jacob Kalzon. Together they are going to present their last project – “A Moment of Now”, which includes 14 exciting interpretations of jazz, pop and rock songs. The concert will take place on the 5-th of November in the Concert Hall Boris Hristov, where the rest of the concerts will be carried out.
The festival will be opened by the incredible Kurt Elling on the 2-nd of November, when he celebrates his birthday. Most of the albums of the legendary jazz vocal have been awarded with Grammy. His last project – “Passion World”, is doubtlessly the most ambitious project in his career, devoted to love and heartache.
The last concert of the festival will be given by the magnetic bossa nova singer Rosalia de Souza. On the 6-th of November she will make the audience dance under the rhythm of Brazil music. 
The rest of the festival will be devoted to Bulgarian jazz music. The only instrumental performance will be on the 3-rd of November, when JP3 will present their new album “Between the Worlds”. The 4-th of November is going to be “The Night of the Four Ladies”. Hilda Kazasyan, Beloslava, Androniya Popova and Mira Katsarova are going to present a few jazz plays arranged by Hristo Yotsov especially for the festival.
