BLACK OUT is a graphical performance-installation on the intersection of dance and visual art. 
Thousands of black granulated fragments transform the dancers’ world into a moving, pictorial composition, that jars as it shifts in response to the light, sound, and movement. The audience watches from above a work in progress, displaying dark images that touch the intimate sphere and the shadowy part in each one of us. Тhe Swiss dance company Philippe Saire has won numerous international awards and has produced more than 30 performances, played over 1000 times worldwide.
The performance of BLACK OUT is part of „Dance connected - establishing capacity for strengthening and diversifying the Bulgarian contemporary dance scene“ is а project by One Foundation for Culture and Art that was approved for funding by the Bulgarian-Swiss Cooperation Programme, under the Block Grant Scheme of the Partnership Fund-"Partnership and Expert Fund" (TF PEF).
