In the hall of the Vazrazdane Gallery will be opened the drawing exposition by prof. Krikor Kassapian and prof. Magardich Kassapian. Opening on October 30, 2018 at 6 pm,. The exhibition will continue until November 19, 2018.

   The new exhibition of Krikor and Mugardic Kasapian, consisting of drawings, is so surprising, as specific as ideas, performance, and resonance, respectively, by the viewer that a man, utterly unexpected, is a little bit too scared. The powerful fancy of the artists, their unlimited possibilities for realizing their projects, exceeded the expectations of the audience many times. Composing performances are so impressive, so philosophical and ideologically backed that the viewer immediately realizes that in these drawings he has come to something extraordinary, bold and shattering.

Biography Krikor Kasapian:

Born in 1963 in Plovdiv. In 1982 he graduated from the National Art High School  “Tsanko Lavrenov”, Plovdiv. In 1990 he graduated from the National Art Academy, Sofia, specializing in graphic. He has performed six solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous joint exhibitions in Japan, Spain, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, the USA, England and Poland.
Member of UBA and APA (Association of Plovdiv artists). Drawing teacher at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts, Plovdiv.

Awards:
2016 - Honor Plaque by the Organization of the Jews in Bulgaria "Shalom" for complete creativity and a remarkable contribution to the cultural life of the Bulgarian society and on the occasion of the exhibition "Light from the Word".
2016 - Nomination for Graphics at the Annual Exhibition of APA. 
2006 - Sponsorship Prize of the Second International Biennale of Exlibris - Sofia. 
2005 - Honorary Medal from the Twentieth International Biennial of Modern Exlibris - Malbork - Poland.

Member of UBA, APA (Association of Plovdiv artists) and The Print Center, Philadelphia, USA. Lecturer in Graphics, Drawing, Composition, Graphic Sheet Analysis in Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts, Plovdiv.
