On 02.04.2019 at 6 pm in the hall of the Vazrazdane Gallery there will be an exhibition of paintings “Forgotten afternoons” by Angel Gerdjikov. The exhibition is on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the author and will continue until 29.04.2019. This will be the tenth (yet jubilee) exhibition of Gerdzhikov in the Vazrazhdane Gallery.

The new exhibition of Angel Gerdjikov is a feast for the senses. Such rich, intense painting is rare and this fact determines the author as a real miracle in modern Bulgarian art.
In the richly populated world of the author, adventures happen all over the place. The characters are bohemian, making music and dreaming, creating a panopticum of joy, bright feelings, and a peculiar, vivid liberality - good for the soul and the eyes of the spectator.
In general, Angel forms a picturesque substance that increasingly turns him into a great artist, able to overleap all contingencies, earnest and true to himself.
A creator, who sincerely enjoys God’s world and whose paintings are touched by God’s hand.
