THE LONG WAY TO THE STARS

In April, May, and June in Plovdiv you will be able to watch THE LONG WAY TO THE STARS. This is an Augmented Lecture performance that introduces us to the latest scientific theories about the origins of the Solar System and life in the Universe. In a funny, inventive and accessible manner, it immerses us in scientific ideas and makes us think about where we are going and what needs to be done if we are to survive as a species.
The brave team behind the project – Andrea Brunello, Director and Playwright of Jet Propulsion Theatre, Italy, Dr. Vladimir Bozhilov from the Department of Astronomy at the Faculty of Physics at Sofia University and Dimitar Uzunov, Director and Actor at Famille Mundi, Paris, and at Arte Urbana Collectif, Sofia – brings theatre and science together.

Part of the THE LONG WAY TO THE STARS are also two workshops: Scientific Storytelling and Science Public Speaking with Andrea Brunello, director of the show, and Creative Storytelling: How to Create and Tell a Good Story with Dimitar Uzunov, co-author and performer.
 
The show opens on April 12 at 19:00 at Limacon Event Center. The workshop on Scientific Storytelling and Science Public Speaking is on April 13 at 10:00 at Compass Hall at Plovdiv University and that on Creative Storytelling: How to Create and Tell a Good Story is on May 16 at 18:00 at Limacon Event Center.
