Star moments are coming with the autumn edition of the XII International Festival "Balabanov’s House Music Days"

"Balabanov’s House Music Days" - the festival, part of the Cultural Calendar of the Municipality of Plovdiv, awarded the label "European Festival" of the European Festival Association, winner of the prestigious awards "Plovdiv", "Music Project of the Year", Gold Medal, will offer in its autumn edition exceptional musical events, including soloists of the Vienna Philharmonic, a chamber musical, the kings of Dixieland, young talents and many others.

The opening of the XII MF "Balabanov’s House Music Days" on September 16 presents the famous Yoanna Kamenarska - concertmaster of the Hamburg Philharmonic in partnership with the prominent pianist Nadia Dimitrov. Following is the long-awaited concert of Fantasialand Dixie Band at the Roman Stadium with the participation of some of the greatest masters of Dixieland in Bulgaria, who conquered a number of European stages to reach an exceptional event of national importance - tour of the Soloists of the Vienna Philharmonic Sophie Dervaux bassoon of the famous orchestra, Matthias Shorn - solo clarinet, Katarina Engelbrecht - violin and the prominent pianist Maria Prince.

For several years the famous opera singer, chamberlain Krasimira Stoyanova, whose name adorns the billboards of the most prestigious opera and concert halls in the world: Vienna State Opera, Covent Garden - London, Milan Scala, Metropolitan Opera - New York, Bavarian Opera - Munich, Munich Berlin, Tetro Liseo - Barcelona, ​​Tetro Real - Madrid and many others, along with his glamorous stage career, expanded the parameters of his professional collaboration with MF "Balabanov’s House Music Days" by initiating a series of concerts entitled "Krasimira Stoyanova presents”, in which, as a teacher, she presents talented young opera singers on the podium of the festival. This autumn, on October 8, the Plovdiv audience will have the opportunity to enjoy two graduates of Krassimira Stoyanova's class at the Vienna Conservatory - Karolina Rajczyk - soprano and Leo Kim - baritone.

Bright highlights of the program are the concert of the elite Sofia Soloists Ensemble with conductor Plamen Dzhurov and soloist Miroslav Petkov - first trumpet player of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra - Amsterdam, as well as the presentation for the first time of a chamber musical. "My Fair Lady" performed by the Pilekadone quintet, winner of the Golden Lyre Award for excellence in the performing arts, and the popular and much-loved soloists Edelina Kaneva - soprano and Marcho Apostolov - tenor. In the cycle "Famous Chamberlains" the string quartet "Philharmonic" consisting of Pavel Zlatarov - violin, Ana Ivanova - violin, Milena Zlatarova - viola and Ivan Lalev - cello will shine with their mastery.

True to its mission to lend a hand to young Plovdiv musicians, MF "Balabanov’s House Music Days" provides a stage for the wonderful pianists Nikolay Marinov (already a student at the Royal Academy in London), Georgi Chikolov and Radoslav Chikolov.

MF "Balabanov’s House Music Days" is implemented with the support of the Municipality of Plovdiv, Musicartissimo Foundation, Ministry of Culture.
