The International Meetings of Photography “Certificate of Presence” start in Plovdiv from 15 to 30 October 2021

"International Photographic Meetings", born more than thirty years ago, annually gather in Plovdiv professionals and lovers of photography from the country and abroad. A place for the discussion environment, live dialogue, new faces in the art of photography, here are the meetings with prestigious names from the Bulgarian and world photography scene.

The program in 2021 is a variety of exhibitions of photographers of the perfect illusion and exhibitions of photographers of the inevitable social reality under the common theme "Certificate of Presence".

"International Meetings of Photography" is supported by the Municipality of Plovdiv as part of the Cultural Calendar of the city for 2021. The organizer of the festival is the Plovdiv Photographic Center Foundation.

This event for this year would have been impossible without the support of the City Gallery of Fine Arts, the Municipal Institute "Ancient Plovdiv" and the Regional History Museum, as well as the kind assistance of the Gallery for Photography "Synthesis".

Important change: The presentation of the Department of Photography of "Mimar Sinan" Fine Arts University, Istanbul on 16.10 at 12.30 h. and the exhibition of Georg Woltz (1863-1917) "The Unknown Photographer" at 14.00 h. will be held in Danchov House (House of Georgi Danchov – Zografina), instead of the Museum of Contemporary history, as announced earlier in the program.
