The painter Iliya Zhelev celebrates a round anniversary with an exhibition in the City Gallery

From September 7 to October 6, 2021, the famous Plovdiv artist Iliya Zhelev will present works from different periods in an exhibition dedicated to his 60th birthday and 33 years of active creative activity. His works will be arranged on the first floor of the Temporary Exhibition Halls, 15 Knyaz Alexander I Street. The opening is on September 7 from 17:00 to 19:30 h. with respecting distance and wearing masks.

Iliya Zhelev is the author of more than 100 solo exhibitions at home and abroad - mainly in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He works in the field of abstract painting with his own recognizable style. In his work he is strongly influenced by the Bulgarian folklore and by the classical modern European art.
