Chamber Scene Plovdiv presents under the hills the international project Blazin' Quartet

Chamber Scene Plovdiv presents Blazin' Quartet on Sunday, September 12, from 21.00 on Stage No. 2 of Bezisten - (former Bar Konushnite in the Old Town). The event is implemented with the support of the Municipality of Plovdiv as part of the Cultural Calendar of the city for 2021.

Blazin 'Quartet is a project of Bosnian-Dutch drummer Srdjan Ivanovic, who has released 4 albums and given numerous concerts in Europe, Asia and South America. The group is based in Paris. In 2008 the Blazin' Quartet won the grand prize of the Dutch Jazz Competition, which takes place at the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam (Netherlands). At the same forum, Srdjan Ivanovic was awarded the prize for best soloist at the Dutch Jazz Competition. Since then, the quartet has participated in the prestigious festival for 3 years in a row (2009, 2010, 2011) and toured in Brazil, Mexico, China, Thailand, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Blazin' Quartet have released two albums for the Dutch record company 'Challenge Records' - 'Finding a Way' - 2009 and 'Jalkan Bazz' - 2012.

'Jalkan Bazz' was also produced with the participation of Serbian poet and musician Rambo Amadeus (Antonije Pušić). Their latest album is released this year under the name Sleeping Beauty and features the French flutist Magik Malik (Malik Medzadri) - one of the leading French jazz musicians and composers.
