International Photo Salon Plovdiv 2021 presents an exhibition "Selected" at the northern entrance of the Ancient Theater

The Municipality of Plovdiv and the International Photo Salon Plovdiv 2021 invite Plovdiv residents and guests to visit the exhibition "SELECTED" by the recently concluded VIII International Photo Salon Plovdiv 2021, part of the Autumn Salon of Arts in Plovdiv.

The exhibition includes over 150 photographs, incl. part of the awarded photographs and selected photos of all authors from Plovdiv, Pazardzhik, Asenovgrad. Also included are selected photographs left in a selection by other Bulgarian and foreign authors.

The exhibition "Selected" is exhibited at the northern entrance of the Ancient Theater (in front of AMTII "Asen Diamandiev") and can be viewed from 11 to 25 September 2021. International Photo Salon Plovdiv 2021 is supported by the Municipality of Plovdiv and is part of the Cultural Calendar of the city.

The official opening, scheduled for September 11, Saturday at 18.00 h., is canceled due to the new anti-epidemic measures, effective from September 7, but the exhibition is available to all citizens and guests who wish to see it.

"VIII International Photo Salon Plovdiv 2021" was held under the patronage of FIAP, HPS and Photographic Academy "Yanka Kyurkchieva", and with the support of the Municipality of Plovdiv. Thousands of talented photographers from all over the world took part in 2021. The six sections featured 4,851 photographs submitted by 353 authors from 46 countries on 6 continents.

For the final selection, a five-member international jury of three countries, chaired by Michele Machinai, EFIAP / s, AFI (Italy), selected 1,177 photographs by 263 authors from 42 countries. The best photographs won 183 individual awards, 11 awards (according to statistics) for authors and 2 for photo groups and clubs.
