The special production of Plovdiv Jazz Fest "Four young ladies sing jazz" will mark the beginning of the seventh edition of the festival. On October 29 at 20:00 h. on the stage of the House of Culture "Boris Hristov" will rise four of the most impressive and distinctive voices of the Bulgarian jazz and pop scene - Veleka Tsankova, Edith Undzhian, Elena Sirakova and Miroslava Todorova.
The vocal project will include songs from some of the iconic films of the 20th century, most of them in black and white. This aesthetic will be transformed into a new reading of the old musical material, entrusted to maestro Vasil Spasov - one of the prominent jazz musicians, composers and orchestrators.
The program will include many surprising versions of classics such as Moon River from "Breakfast at Tiffany's" or As Time Goes By from "Casablanca". Along with the four young ladies will be the string quartet with the participation of Ivelina Hristova (violin), Dilyana Dimitrova (violin), Maria Venkova (viola), Antoanina Yurgandzhieva (cello) and the jazz trio: Vasil Spasov (piano), Misho Ivanov (bass) and Atanas Popov (drums).
"Four young ladies sing jazz" will be one of the series of interesting and successful projects produced by Plovdiv Jazz Fest. Different singers are invited to them, with diverse vocal experience and characteristic style.
In 2015, Plovdiv Jazz Fest presented an evening dedicated to women's jazz voices, together with Andronia Popova-Roni, Beloslava, Miroslava Katsarova and Hilda Kazasyan. Two years later we heard the vocal collaboration between four gentlemen: Orlin Pavlov, Svilen Noev, Stefan Valdobrev and Pavel Terziyski.
Tickets for all concerts can be found in the Eventim network.
In addition, a limited number of festival tickets are on sale, which include all concerts from the main program of Plovdiv Jazz Fest.

EU DIGITAL COVID CERTIFICATE can be obtained at https://his.bg in the following three cases:
· Vaccination: you have been vaccinated with any of the COVID-19 vaccines;
· SARS-CoV-2 infection in the last 12 months: you have been ill and have an official document certifying that the disease was not more than a year ago;
· Negative result from a laboratory test for COVID-19: you have a negative result from an antigen test (48 hours before the concerts) or a PCR test (72 hours before the concert);

· Children between 12 and 18 years of age enter with a ticket without a Digital Certificate.
TESTS WITH 50% DISCOUNT FOR FESTIVAL GUESTS
During the Plovdiv Jazz Fest (October 29, 30 and 31) the laboratory of the Medicus Alpha Clinic (at 21 Veliko Tarnovo Street, next to the Singing Fountains), which is located next to the Hall of Culture “Boris Hristov”, provided the opportunity for the audience of Plovdiv Jazz Fest to receive a 50% discount on the price of antigen tests.
Thus, their price becomes BGN 20.
✦ The laboratory provides an additional team and a green corridor for our guests from 16:00 h. to 17:00 h. each day of the festival.
✦ During the rest of the working hours, guests of the festival will be received again, but they will need to plan more time, as the laboratory is very busy.
✦ The only thing you need is to buy a concert ticket from the program of Plovdiv Jazz Fest, which will certify that the test is intended for the audience of the festival.
We hope that this opportunity will at least slightly alleviate the difficult conditions of access to the concerts for part of the audience this year.
