"Plovdiv Chamber Scene" closes the season with a concert by "Mario Stanchev Trio"

Especially for the final concert for the season of "Chamber Scene Plovdiv", from Lyon, France arrives another star of the European jazz scene, the pianist Mario Stanchev.

The maestro will play on the piano of the legendary Milcho Leviev, on the stage of Culture Hotspot Milcho Leviev, and his music will resonate accompanied by the instruments of two other great and proven artists, Hristo Yotsov and Dimitar Karamfilov.

The event is supported by the Municipality of Plovdiv and is part of the Cultural Calendar of the city for 2021.

Pianist, composer and founder of the Jazz Department of the Lyon Conservatory, Mario Stanchev was born in Sofia, in the family of a pianist (Bulgarian) and a singer (French). He received classical music education at NMU and NMA, and then worked with famous Bulgarian jazz musicians and formations.

The concert of Mario Stanchev - piano, Dimitar Karamfilov - bass and Hristo Yotsov - drums is on 2 November 2021 at 18.00 h. in Culture Hotspot Milcho Leviev / House "Ivan Chernozemski" in the Old Town, 5 Ts. Lavrenov Str.
