KINOMANIA IN PLOVDIV starts on Friday with a remarkable programme
Plovdiv residents will see the latest films by Pedro Almodovar and Carlos Saura and two of the most awaited titles of the year - outside the official selection

KINOMANIA, which started in the late 80's as "World Cinema Panorama", announced an ambitious program for its 16th edition in Plovdiv. It will be the second for this year - after the pandemic 2020 the festival failed to take place and after two delays took place in April 2021.

However, the new edition comes at the usual time - at the end of November, and with a remarkable programme, including the new films of Pedro Almodovar - ("Parallel Mothers"), Carlos Saura ("King of the World") and many others. Traditionally, the festival, organized by the National Palace of Culture, realized with the help of the Municipality of Plovdiv will be held in the art cinema of Plovdiv LUCKY House of Cinema. Access to all screenings will be with a green certificate.
