Dimitar Kovachev-Funky and a whole galaxy of comedians play "The Merry Carriage" by Elin Rakhnev on the Plovdiv stage
In Elin Rahnev's newest play, Funky takes on the role of a funeral agent

Theater "Ivan Dimov", Haskovo will perform on the Plovdiv stage on December 14 at 19.00 h. in the Hall of Culture "Boris Hristov" with "The Merry Carriage" by Elin Rahnev.

The famous Bulgarian musician, businessman and participant in the jury of various television music formats Dimitar Kovachev-Funky made his acting debut in "The Merry Carriage". In Elin Rahnev's newest play "The Merry Carriage" he plays the role of a funeral agent.

The actors in the performance are: Dimitar Banenkin, Toncho Tokmakchiev, Maya Bezhanska, Nikoleta Malcheva, Dobriela Popova, Stelian Nikolov and Emanuil Kostadinov. The scenography is by Anelia Raykova, and the music is by Georgi Georgiev from the group "Ostava". Elin Rahnev is an author and director.

Work on this project began in early summer. The premiere of the play took place on September 30 at the Haskovo Theater, and all tickets sold out. The first post-premiere performance was on October 2nd.

On December 14, Plovdiv residents will have the opportunity to laugh heartily at comic situations. Many questions are looking for answers. Do we live or pretend? Do we dream or just sleep? Is there a difference between up and down? But, in fact, life is one big casino. And everyone chooses the color to bet on. And whatever happens! All this in "The Merry Carriage", presented with a lot of laughter and a few tears.

Tickets are priced at BGN 20, 18 and 15 and are on sale at the MaskArt box office at the Hall of Culture "Boris Hristov".
