The Trakia Ensemble invites you to a Christmas concert

On the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays, Folklore Ensemble "Trakia" will once again delight its audience with a festive concert called "Oh, Christmas, my Christmas." The performance will take place on December 20, 2021 at 19:00 h. in the Hall of Culture "Boris Hristov".

The artists from "Trakia" will present to their audience rites and rituals from the holiday calendar of the Bulgarian, related to one of the brightest Christian holidays - Christmas. The concert will begin with a re-creation of a Christmas custom from the town of Saedinenie. It will go through songs and ritual wishes for health and prosperity, as per the tradition in the Bulgarian home. For the finale, the artistic director Prof. Daniela Dzheneva also included the dance "Grozdana", which is the first Thracian dance created at Folklore Ensemble "Trakia".

The concert will be held in compliance with the current anti-epidemic measures and the requirement for a green certificate.
