The Municipality of Plovdiv invites the citizens of Plovdiv to the Christmas concerts in front of the municipality and to celebrate the New Year

The Municipality of Plovdiv is pleased to invite Plovdiv residents and guests of the city to the concerts it organizes on the occasion of the upcoming Christmas holidays and the coming of the New 2022. Traditionally, on December 24, 25, 26 and 31, favorite native performers and talented children will perform on the open stage on Stefan Stambolov Square.

We will hear and see the Singer's Society "Angel Bukoreshtliev" Plovdiv, which this year celebrates 125 years since its founding. Concerts will be given by participants from the show "Asya in the Land of Talents". The stage will be rocked to the rhythm of the performances of the Student Dance Ensemble "Puldin" at UFT Plovdiv. We will enjoy the incredible Plovdiv finalists in "The Voice of Bulgaria" - Ilin Iliev, Richard Mantarliev, Lydia Ganeva. Of course we will hear the emblem of Plovdiv - "Big Band Plovdiv", as well as the beautiful and talented "Note Quartet". Santa Claus will be inseparable from the children, because this year everyone listened and was good.

On New Year's Eve, Kerana and the cosmonauts, the cult Bulgarian band Diana Express, the dancers from the other Plovdiv emblem - Folklore Ensemble "Trakia" and the favorite of the young Dara will take care of the good mood of Plovdiv residents who choose to celebrate the holiday outdoors. The host will be Deyan Slavchev - Deo.

December 1, 2021, Wednesday

Location: Stefan Stambolov Square

17.30 h. - Solemn ceremony of the symbolic lighting of the Christmas tree lights and the decoration in the city. The lights of the Christmas tree will be lit by the Mayor of Plovdiv Zdravko Dimitrov, who will greet Plovdiv residents and guests of the city.

On the stage: Plovdiv Boys' Choir "Stefka Blagoeva" at CPLR-ODK with conductor Milka Toledova, piano accompaniment Yulia Petrova.
Vocal group MAGIC from "Art Voice Center" led by Rumyana Ivanova.
