Provincial stories - PREMIERE

In the play "Provincial Stories" the actress and director Ivanka Shekerova opens the doors of the past and introduces the audience to the vast ocean of characters that Chudomir has so skillfully described in his stories. Images of the past that are so relevant today will find a way to the memories and experiences of each person. The images of the local gossip girl, a poor man who seeks a way to please his wife but never succeeds, literally come to life on stage, the "tragedy" of the mother-in-law who cannot accept the daughter-in-law and the comic encounter of an ordinary man with the bureaucracy. The scenes filled with laughter and comic situations are about the small and important things in our lives. Chudomir's humor, skillfully intertwined with the bright comedic talent of the actress Ivanka Shekerova, leaves a bright imprint even in the most demanding audience. And as the great Bulgarian writer Dimitar Hristov Chorbadzhiyski - Chudomir says,
"The most empty day is the one when we have not laugh."
