Regional Ethnographic Museum - Plovdiv presents "The Wood" - exhibition of the artist Stanimir Gabrovski

From 8 to 28 February 2022 at the Regional Ethnographic Museum - Plovdiv you can enjoy the author's exhibition of Stanimir Gabrovski. Unique works of art created from wood will be arranged in the museum's exhibition hall. These are collages, paintings and sculptures to which the author "gives" a little more life. They are made of red willow, mahogany, walnut, and others. 

Stanimir Gabrovski was born in Veliko Tarnovo and has no academic education, but this does not stop him from creating beautiful works of wood. He works in the field of sculpture, collage and interior design, has participated in regional and national exhibitions, and took part in the International Miniature Biennale in Ruse. In 2021 he had four solo exhibitions in Sofia, Veliko Tarnovo, and his items are owned by collectors from Bulgaria and abroad.

The idea of the exhibition is to let the materials made of wood continue their existence, pleasing people's eyes and souls. "The Wood" carries the author's message, making us think before we cut down a tree or leave our old homes to ruin.
