After composing Carmina Burana, Carl Orff wrote to his publisher Schott: "You can now destroy everything I have written before and which, unfortunately, you have typed. My collected works begin with Carmina Burana."
With the special participation of the world-renowned piano duo Aglika Genova and Lyuben Dimitrov.
Yordan Kamdzhalov and the Genova-Dimitrov duo have a long and successful history of joint concerts and recordings.
In October 2017 they were awarded Germany's most prestigious classical music prize, the Echo Klassik, alongside the BNR Symphony Orchestra in the category "Recording of 20th/21st Century Concertos", and in 2019 they received a nomination for another prestigious European award in the recording world, the Opus Klassik, to which the GENESIS ORCHESTRA created by Yordan Kamdzhalov contributed with its very first recording.
