The legendary Wiener Symphoniker arrives in Bulgaria for the first time in September. The official orchestra of the city of Vienna will perform two concerts at the iconic Ancient Theater in Plovdiv.
World-class interpretations will be heard by the audience on September 9 and 10. The program includes the Overture "Coriolanus" by Ludwig van Beethoven, the virtuoso First Violin Concerto by Niccolo Paganini and the Symphony № 9 "From the New World" by Antonín Dvořák. The historical concerts are conducted by maestro Naiden Todorov - a Viennese graduate and director of the Sofia Philharmonic. The soloist is the world-renowned performer and expert on Paganini's music, maestro Mario Hossen.

The visit of the Wiener Symphoniker is organized by the Trakia Association and is carried out with the financial support of the Municipality of Plovdiv as part of the Cultural Calendar of the city for 2022. The partner of the event is the Austrian Embassy.
