This year again, the free film screenings will delight the children of Plovdiv.

The most viewed children's films from the past year will be screened free of charge at Lucky Cinema every Saturday and Sunday from 30 April to 22 May 2022. The programme includes specially selected animated 3D and 2D children's films, dubbed into Bulgarian. A total of 16 screenings will take place over the four consecutive weekends of the Children's Film Festival, every Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 h and 13:00 h.

The Children's Film Festival is part of the cultural calendar of Plovdiv Municipality and gives the youngest the opportunity to meet the magic of the seventh art for the first time. The event has been taking place since 2013, and since its first edition it has enjoyed huge interest. In its eight years, the Children's Film Festival has been attended by over 50,000 people.
