14 institutions from the Art and Education Consortium celebrate Cyril and Methodius Day with an exhibition and concert

14 institutions united in the Art and Education Consortium are preparing a spectacular celebration for the citizens and guests of Plovdiv. They invite all on May 10 in the House of Culture "Boris Hristov" at 17.30 h. for the opening of the exhibition and at 19.00 h. for a concert. Entrance is free for both creative performances.

The events are under the patronage of Plamen Panov, Deputy Mayor of Culture, Archaeology and Tourism for the Municipality of Plovdiv, and are dedicated to May 24 - the bright holiday that marks the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture and of Slavonic literature. 

The members of the Art and Education Consortium established at the end of 2021 are AMTII - Plovdiv, National School of Folk Arts Shiroka Luka, Drama Theatre N. О. Masalitinov - Plovdiv, State Opera - Plovdiv, State Puppet Theatre - Plovdiv, BNR Radio Plovdiv, National Art School Tsanko Lavrenov, National School of Performing and Screen Arts - Plovdiv, National School of Music and Dance Dobrin Petkov, Folklore Ensemble Trakia, the NGO Bulgarian National Youth Folklore Union, Ancient Plovdiv Municipal Institute, National School of Folk Arts Phillip Kutev and BNT 2.
