For the seventh consecutive year we will immerse ourselves in the magic of Bulgarian folklore at one of the largest festivals in Bulgaria - "Plovdiv National Assembly".

On June 3, 4 and 5 will be held one of the largest festivals in Plovdiv and one of the largest in Bulgaria - "Plovdiv National Assembly"! Whole 3 days filled with diversity, folklore and patriotism.

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, for the seventh year in a row, Lauta Park will host more than 4,000 performers across the country, and organizers expect the event to be attended by a record 90,000 people.

The program will be decorated by the concerts of "The Voice of Bulgaria" - Petya Paneva, Vievska Folklore Group, Kalina and Nevena, Rayko Kirilov, ensemble "Dilyanka", "Big Bagpipe", bagpipe ensemble "Orpheus" and especially for the opening you will see the ensemble Trakia !!

For the first time, children from over 20 kindergartens are participating in the festival.

The long-awaited "Outdoor Dance" for the masters of dance will be from 5 o'clock on Saturday and Sunday evenings. This year, in addition to the two big stages, there will be "Horishte" - Scene 3, where you can freely dance or rehearse before and after participation!

The children's workshop with three-legged chairs will entertain the youngest visitors. There we will color embroideries, folk costumes, assemble puzzles with history, we will learn and think.

Bagrenitsa weaving shop will visit us with a real loom, where everyone can try one of the most ancient crafts - weaving.

The "Tradition and Patriotism" associations will once again show exhibitions of antique weapons, folk costumes and reconstructions.

Special lessons in folk dances, ethno-cardio and the school of musical instruments (drum, bagpipe, flute and reed) will help beginners to get acquainted with Bulgarian folklore.

And the surprise for 2022 - we are looking for couples who are about to get married, to make them happy with an incredible experience. We record wedding wishes to "get married" in the traditional style of the stage. PostArt will make a custom scene for you. You will dance, you will transform into authentic, over 100 years old wedding costumes, we will shave the boy and cover the girl, there will be a cake and a flag - a real folklore wedding. The rightmost lane of St. Petersburg Blvd. will be free for parking. We ask drivers to drive with caution and to observe the restrictions. There will be constant control with speed cameras!
