„Classic Open Air: Music of the Hills“ with free concerts for Plovdiv's music lovers

Plovdiv Opera and Plovdiv Municipality invite Plovdiv citizens to concerts from the series "Classic Open Air: Music of the Hills" on 27 and 28 May on Danov Hill (Sahat Tepe) at 8 pm. The natural backdrop for the concerts will be the Clock Tower in Plovdiv, which is among the oldest in Europe. The musical event is a continuation of the initiative to recognize Plovdiv's natural landmarks as alternative cultural venues during the summer months.

On 27 May, operetta fans will hear famous arias by Strauss, Lehár and Kalman in the concert "Viva L'Operetta" performed by soloists Evgenia Ralcheva, Svetlana Ivanova, August Methodiev and Mark Fowler. Rositsa Dimova will be at the piano.

On Saturday evening, May 28, "Pictures by Piazzolla" will immerse the audience in the passionate world of Argentine tango performed by Kaloyan Kumanov - accordion, Victoria Karidova - violin, Ralitsa Boteva - piano and Edith Unjian - vocals.

The project "Classic Open Air: Music under the hills" is part of the Cultural Calendar of Plovdiv Municipality. Entrance for Plovdiv citizens and guests is free.
