Children's festival of knowledge and movement

We are pleased to invite you to another edition of the Children's Festival of Knowledge and Movement - Plovdiv 2022.
The festival is organized by the Ivan Vazov National Library, NGO "Association for Social, Health and Legal Assistance" and Club for Mountain Applied Sports "AGARTA" - Plovdiv, in cooperation with the Joint Special Operations Command /68th Special Forces Brigade/.
On the 4th and 5th of June /Saturday and Sunday/, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the children of Plovdiv will have the opportunity to listen to interesting lectures, participate in demonstrations, orient themselves with a compass, take on the role of a rescuer, biologist, scientist, cave explorer, learn about unknown animals and plants, and get to know the vertical world of mountaineering and climbing.
Demonstrations of martial arts, folk dancing, painting, acting, crafts, and more will be held in the City Garden.
This year, for the first time since the beginning of the festival, we will also have a rock climbing station at the eastern foot of Bunardzhika Hill / next to the Church of St. Peter and Paul /.
In the framework of this festival, together we will see what is the relationship between knowledge and movement, how what we learn in libraries can be practically applied outside, how to cultivate a healthy spirit in a healthy body, how to live actively, how to be part of a vibrant and healthy community, and how to safely interact with nature and the environment.
