The musical "MAMMA MIA!" will conquer the stage again on August 6 and 7 at 8:30 p.m. The eternal songs of "ABBA" and the libretto of Catherine Johnson will immerse us in the incredible story of a Greek summer, ardent love and a magical island, where surprising situations involve the audience in the comic-dramatic plot of the show! After its presentation on world stages in front of more than 60 million spectators, the audience of the Ancient Theater in Plovdiv will have the opportunity to experience one of the most sought-after musicals, which has won the sympathies and respect of music lovers - "MAMMA MIA". Music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulveus. This is possible thanks to the team of the Sofia Opera and Ballet and the director Plamen Kartalov. MAMMA MIA is the story of Sophie's quest, determined to make her wedding day unforgettable and to find the father she never knew. In an attempt to find him so he can walk her down the aisle as wedding tradition dictates, Sophie invites three men from her mother Donna's past to the Greek island and expects to learn which one is her father.

In the role of Sophie – Vesela Delcheva.

Sam - one of Sophie's probable fathers is Kiril Ivanov.

Alexander Georgiev takes on the role of Bill - a man from a man from Donna's past. Nikolay Pavlov (06.08) and Simeon Vladov (07.08) play the role of Harry – the third of the men who marked Donna's life.

In the role of Donna, the audience will see Lyudmila Kozareva

(06.08) and Edelina Kaneva (07.08). The role of Rosie is performed by Denitsa Shopova (07.06.08)
