From 6 to 19 June 2022 in the Art Library of the National Library "Ivan Vazov" - Plovdiv, 2nd floor, will be able to see the exhibition of Irena Yancheva "Bulgarian ornaments, flora and fauna transformed from mosaics." It includes works inspired by ancient symbols, colors and shapes. Ornaments from Antiquity, the time before Christ, the Bulgarian Revival, and to this day are reflected. Irena Yancheva was born in Plovdiv. Apart from the tradition of her hometown, she finds provocation for her work in Libya, Tripoli, Sabrata… She studied and improved at Gabra Studio - Toronto. Her education / ethnology / complements the conscious approach to the works. He is the author and participant in a number of exhibitions.
