A 5-meter alpine horn and talented young musicians will sound the Bishop's Basilica of Philippopolis on June 9.

For the 4th year in a row, the music platform PROGRESSIVE will present young musicians who have given their talent and heart to the art of music.

On June 9 at 6.30 pm on the stage of the remarkable Bishop's Basilica of Philippopolis, the audience in the City under the Hills will have the privilege to applaud exceptional soloists, youth ensembles and orchestra.

Arkady Shilkloper - one of the most prominent performers worldwide on the attractive nearly 5-meter alpine horn, will be the soloist and conductor of the young talented orchestras. Among the ensembles participating in the Gala Concert are the chamber ensemble "Sunny Voices" with conductor Ilian Tiganev, the brilliant duo Stoimen Peev (violin) - Viktor Mitsev (viola), the famous quartet Motus and others.

"Youth platform PROGRESSIVE - soloists, talents, orchestra" is part of the Heritage Program of Plovdiv - European Capital of Culture 2019.

The concert is free, the audience will be admitted to the Bishop's Basilica until the allowable capacity is filled.
